My background includes district-level public affairs leadership, public information officer responsibilities, and emergency management collaboration in large, complex organizations. I’m most effective working upstream—helping leaders think clearly, choose their words carefully, and avoid making communication part of the crisis.

I’m a communications professional with more than two decades of experience in writing, editing, and public-sector communications, including senior leadership roles focused on crisis response and public affairs.

 

My work has included advising executives during high-pressure situations involving safety, public health, investigations, and community trust. I value clarity, restraint, and honesty—especially when circumstances are complex or emotionally charged.​
